Love Embodied - Jeff the Highland Bull Calf

This little guy is truly love embodied.  He is Mocha's full brother, and has some of the best genetics around.  Not only does petting him feel like touching a minky blanket, he also leans in for more...letting you know he enjoys it as much as we do.  What a gift of love to the world.

At Bluebell Tiny Cattle Co., we believe miniature Highland cattle should be more than just adorable! We carefully select our breeding bulls for their gentle temperaments, beautiful coloring, long shaggy coats, and compact size. Our goal is to raise friendly, beautiful miniature Highlands that make wonderful additions to family farms and homesteads.

  • Gentle Temperaments: We prioritize calm, naturally gentle breeding bulls to help produce calves with friendly, manageable dispositions.

  • Beautiful Hair & Coloring: We love the signature long, flowing Highland coats and select for beautiful colors, thick hair, and those adorable shaggy faces.

  • Miniature Size: We carefully select smaller-framed breeding stock to produce compact cattle better suited for family farms and smaller homesteads.

  • Family-Friendly Personalities: Our calves receive regular human interaction from a young age, helping them become comfortable around people.

  • Naturally Hardy: Highland cattle originated in Scotland and are known for their ability to thrive in cold climates, thanks to their thick, double-layered coats.

  • Distinctive Highland Features: From their long bangs and fluffy ears to their impressive horns, Highlands have a unique appearance that makes them unforgettable.

  • Efficient Grazers: Highlands are known for their ability to utilize a variety of pasture grasses and forage, making them a practical choice for many homesteads.

  • Long-Lived & Maternal: Highland cows are known for their longevity, strong maternal instincts, and ability to raise healthy calves.

  • Quality Beef Potential: Highlands are traditionally raised for flavorful beef, offering homesteaders both beauty and practical agricultural value.

  • Raised With Purpose: We focus on temperament, health, structure, and beautiful Highland characteristics—not simply producing the smallest possible cow.

Our Bluebell Difference

At Bluebell Tiny Cattle Co., we love cattle that offer more than just adorable looks. Our goal is to raise beautiful, manageable, multipurpose cattle that bring joy, companionship, and practical value to family farms and homesteads.
